You can get 10 blood for beating the game with every heat modifier (not all at once, just every heat modifier used once)
Finally you can get one blood every time you beat the first boss and the last boss on a higher level heat modifier. You can also do this per weapon
IE:
Beat heat 1 with bow (get 2 blood)
Beat heat 1 with sword (get 2 blood)
Beat heat 1 with rail gun (get 2 blood)
Beat heat 1 with spear (get 2 blood)
Beat heat 2 with bow (get 2 blood)
etc...
I recommend Zagreus Aspect for each weapon but the sword first (it's a cheap+effective boost to all weapons)
The Poseidon Aspect for the sword (because cast build with this weapon is INSANE)
--- I have a 20:25.50 clear time (heat 3) with the Poseidon Aspect sword (and it wasn't even an optimal build)
This wasn't super clear either and had me confused at first. But yes, you select one aspect as active and that's the one you get. Not all of them at once.
My first win happened with the shield after 17 runs, I realized that thing is just broken, every boss turns into a joke as you don't really have to dodge anything, just block and counter every single thing they do.
Then I reset my save, started from zero and just happened to get good opportunities to level up the basic sword, with no titan blood at all, special attack, in the end it had more range, +20% damage, +60% or something from Chaos, crit chance from artemis, mark on crit, more cast speed, more damage against armor, etc...
Needless to say it could crit over 500 and it had a pretty fast animation, so I cleared the game in my 9th run on a new save, I wasn't expecting it, just happened to get loads of good synergies there.
PS: If you're worried, even though I'm a new player, got the game yesterday I think, every weapon seems good, like, really good, it's all about style and synergies, for example many people say the sword is just trash, yet it was my fastest clear so far, many people say the gun and the bow are the best weapons, yet I didn't even beat the 3rd boss with them and find them really difficult to use, focus on the weapons you just like to play with and you'll get there.
I think mostly what's missing with the Titan Blood is a little bit more information about how to use it and the fact that it's quite rare (for anyone who isn't hardcore) AND making it clear that you can only have one aspect active at the time. If I had known that I wouldn't have just spent it all in one place.
Since hell mode doesn't have any special rewards for completing it other then bragging rights, I have been playing normal (with heat) as I find it more enjoyable
Once you've capped out the Mirror or at least most of it (aside from Fated Authority which doesn't really matter), runs will be easy and down to your personal skill. You should be able to clear every run with no effort in the beginning, with the only difficulty being you increasing the heat. And by this point you'll already have your favorite Aspect/Weapons so you'll keep upgrading those first.
I have 60~ hours in the game and I have all aspects maxed, except Cast from Sword and Blitz Disc from Shield... Meaning soon, I'll have all maxed, yet my highest clear is 13 Heat on Bow. Which means eventually you'll have more titan blood than you can actually use for anything.
The major issue for a new player is that he is locked in whatever aspect he chooses until he is able to complete many runs, or he has to play with a low level weapons.
A simple way to fix this is an training option. If you can try your weapon aspect before using your titan blood, you'll feel a lot more confident, and will have a better chance not to regret your decision.
Other than that, a respec option (with something like a darkness cost, as this currency is mostly useless later in the game) could be implemented.
Keep in mind the difference between lv 1 and 5 aspect can be ridiculous, and two players with the same skilsl can have very different experiences in game based solely on how they spent their titan blood.
You can give up. If you press Esc and choose "Give up", your run gets reset. Like it never happend, nothing spent nothing earned. That's the closest you will get to a training option atm.
+ the trader. At the beggining if you convert all your ambrosia to titan blood it's still 10 titan blood before you even beat the game. 15 for just beating the game. 25 for beating the game with every weapons.
