Totally would agree in a "skilled scenario". In terms of raw ease tho, I feel like you can just close your eyes and win runs with even half a decent hera bow run. my best times are with shield overall, it's so good. but if you want a free win, i feel like hera bow is always there for you
What are you doing with the shield to make it work?
Chaos shield, and whatever special buff you like.
In my experience Shield has extremely potent Hammer upgrades. You can get two upgrades that specialize in, say, the Special and with complementary boons you'll just wreck enemies. I had a run with the upgrade to do damage upon catching the shield after a throw and started destroying stuff in close combat, with the special also stacking Doom on everything (very useful for stacking anything really since it hits multiple times, plus I had Chaos Aspect to throw two shields at once).
