What's up with the aspect of Guan Yu?

Purely a lore based question, but what is up with Guan Yu? As I understand it all weapon aspects are based on gods and goddesses. So why is Guan Yu aviable? Does this mean the Chinese Taoist gods exist in the world of Hades?

I'm not complaining though, just confused and would like some explanation
