Hi there, I'm using a PS4 controller but the display is still the xbox buttons in the game . What should I do to get the PS4 buttons instead?

Sadly it doesnt work for me I always see the xbox buttons even if uncheck other boxes and leave only playstation support checked. I tried restarting steam after doing so but no luck here still doesnt work.

I'm not sure what would cause this offhand. If you don't mind could you please press F10 to report this to us as a bug when next you see Xbox prompts onscreen while using a PS4 controller? That would send us diagnostic info we could potentially use to get to the bottom of what's happening.

i buy the game now, and the ps4 buttons is work fine.. :)

OK I FOUND A SOLUTION! I unchecked every box on general controller settings even the Playstation support box and let the one on the top button "Guide button focuses Steam" the only one checked. Now I have the PS4 buttons in game :D

what worked for me was to right-click the game in library > Properties > Controller > set OVERRIDE FOR HADES to 'Disable Steam Input'

EDIT: just found out, if you manage to get the PS icons, the L2 and R2 button do not work correctly. So I would rather stick with the Xbox icon....for now, hopefully devs will fix this.

This is 3 years late but alternatively, you guys could also use ds4windows and turn off the controller support on Steam for the ps4 controller and the ps4 symbols in Hades will show up.
