Medea Skull Feels Bad
Medea's Aspect of the Argent Skull feels like a great idea.. but I struggle to find a build that actually.. feels good with the detonations.

In Hades 1, Aspect of Beowulf shield or Aspect of Hera Coronacht felt great. Timing your payloads was really rewarding. Medea just doesn't feel like she does any damage to armored foes, sometimes taking several fully-stocked skulls plus an Omega Special to take anything down in The Mourning Fields.

Maybe some damage tuning..?

I agree here. Tried to charge skulls, then secondary omega dash attack into enemies. But damage was so low, attacks so time consuming, and overall dashing too risky, that I became frustrated and canceled the run.

Medea needs to hold onto the skulls for longer (indefinitely?) and allow you to move while loading them in. It's already risky for it to be all-in-your-face, right? And the damage isn't amazing besides. Maybe I'd be okay with the lower damage if you were fully mobile while charging skulls... But like, THAT'S how far they'd have to go to make me use it at all.

I could write a small essay on why Medea is functionally incompatible with Hades 2's systems, but I'll instead just say that I do not think even letting you load skulls while moving, or increasing their timer, or even so much as tripling the damage, or even all 3, will make the aspect feel better. I honestly think it just needs a ground-up rework, completely different functionality. It just wants to be the Beowulf aspect, and not only is it bad at it, it makes it lack an identity beyond it just wanting to be Beowulf.

Possible solutions would be
1) making the attack charging instantaneous. It would allow a faster interval between special charged with the attack. allow better maneuverability as you are locked in place charging less time.

2)indefinite holding of the charged attack. it would give better control of the pace of the fight. No reason for the attack to burst during boss invulnerable phase.

3)After fully charging all available skulls and waiting three seconds a click on the attack button detonates a single skull. This would allow the aspect to word as an attack only build as well.

Wanted to respond saying: I finally did Medea on 32 heat! NOTHING on the attack worked. Apollo is too low damage, Demeter freeze is bad if you need to make contact with the enemy, Blitz requires a full charge... You think Aphrodite would be enough, but even that feels terrible!

My solution: never actually use the attack past the early stage of the game. The Special damage bonus is quite powerful, and spamming Omega Special is a much more efficient use of time. Hera on gain, whatever on Special—ideally Aphrodite.

However, constantly channeling that lengthy Omega Special makes it a strain on time limits! Whether you focus on loading the attack or forsake it completely, it's all waiting! Quite an irritating high-heat aspect.

Also, there are some locations sea-dragons spawn in the second biome that prevent you from hitting them from anything but the most specific angles with the Omega Special. I think you could completely screw yourself out of clearing the room if you couldn't regenerate magick!

Anyway, I'd say this weapon aspect stinks. I wonder if it'd be more fun if, alongside loading while moving, it could let out a pulse as you load it? Alongside letting you carry the skulls indefinitely. Those are two changes I'd love.

Oh, and you have to get WAY too close to enemies to activate the skulls! You shouldn't have to be LITERALLY on top of an enemy for them to burst when using the special; they should go off somewhere in the middle of the skull's blast radius.
