But don't forget that in each run there's a weapon that will award you 2 bones per encounter. It doesn't seem much, but that helps a lot.
As well as fishing, they are supposed to be sold (I guess) and some fishes are worth a nice amount of bones as well.
I can appreciate some farming, but let's say you get the bone bonus + 1 projelly + 6 bones reward per run (both unlikely), you still barely reach half a Nightmare per run with that. And we are talking about getting 27 of those!! It is literally longer to get that than to complete everything else in the game.
I think it is totally ok for early access, but that is definitely something that needs to be changed in the final version.
I just thought about another idea: runs completed above a certain level of fear could guarantee a nightmare.
Or just reduce the cost of upgrades. That works too.
You get 30 out of Testaments. 5 is (i think) reward for the prophesy requiring using every Arcana to beat Chronos. That's under a half of what you need.
Way too much farm, IMO.
Also, it seems there will at least be one other weapon added in the future, so 16 more Nightmares, with probably only 6 you can get from Testaments if it follows the same logic. So, 10 more to farm...
I really hope they will implement more options to obtain them.
