You know. I get that entirely. I've stopped playing most games that have crafting, but I figure it's already a fundamental part of the game at this point. Might as well add a little more to do with the resources you inevitably collect.
Just my opinion, but the "crafting" and "resource" collecting in this game is still very in line with what the original game had and the original game had allot of bonus stuff to use the resources on. And when that ran out they had the badges/ranks--can't remember what it was called--that were almost a satire of endless resource collection as it's so silly and useless. At least having incantation recipes with single uses can add something different to a run ad infinitum.
The Garden could, instead, be used in this way, where you brew up potions to add modifiers to runs (both good and bad), and this provide use for all the seeds.
