Topside enemies and bosses
Many enemies going topside have a tendency to throw things off screen. Many of these attacks are hidden under ability animations and effects. This can lead to getting hit without even knowing what you where hit by and where it came from. there is also an issue with the first area where you can be hit almost immediately after exiting from a cleared area back to the main area by a fire barrel. at first many of these issues didn't bother me but doing a nightmare 32 run with the 300% first room damage getting one shot from enemies off screen and not even seeing the attack to be able to respond. is extremely frustrating. i would like the enemies attack/effects to be prioritized over all the other animations to clearly be able to respond. an example of this is the scalding vapor duo boon the steam effect covers everything bellow animations, effects, etc.
Another thing I ran into was polyphemus jump attack it has very little tell and moves extremely fast meaning if you are stuck in an animation your probably going to get hit. i see either a better tell he will do this attack or make his jump slightly slower. Eris also has the same issue of very little tell to which attack she will use this leads to taking a shotgun blast straight to the face and easily ending runs.
