Blackscreen on launch

Hello,
I looked for a lot of ways to fix the black screen problem when launching the game, but nothing worked. Has anyone had this problem before and if so, how did they resolve it?

just in case, did you try everything in supergiant.games/hades2faq under If You're Having Issues Launching the Game, or See a Black Screen?
regardless, you can try to press F10 and report it (if it even works), or follow the steps If All Else Fails in the link above.
