"Renderer Creation Failed"

I keep getting this error, even though my pc has all above the mininum requirements. Wanna know what to do or if I should get my money back lmao

Hi, here are a few things to please try:
1. Update the drivers for all graphics cards on your system.
2. Turn off Steam Overlay or any similar overlays from GeForce, etc.

If neither of those help, please try the instructions in our FAQ under "If the Game Crashes During Play":

And then the instructions to email us your DxDiag and log files at the bottom where we can take a closer look!

same thing happening to me :( I updated my graphics card but it does the same thing. Hades 1 runs perfectly fine still though

I did try to do both of those things, as well as try any applicaple solutions on the technical support faq, and i saw no positive results. I have sent my Dxdiag over your email.

Is there any chance your version of Windows is really out of date? I recovered an old computer of mine that was running on a very old version of Windows 10. Finally managed to get it to update and no longer had this issue.

I've tried so many of the "fixes" for this issue. Graphics card is the most up to date. Turned off steam overlay. Verified the file integrity. Uninstalled and Redownloaded the game AND the graphics drivers. Redownloaded Visual C++ redistributable. Tried running in compatibility mode. Nothing is working. I'm so frutrated now, I might just have to get a refund. Really bummed I can't play the game.

also faced here after reinstalling the Crossover (to play on a Mac). Nothing helps. Guys, please make something! :)
