Family Share
Anybody else having issues with family share? I own the game, but no-one in my family share can find it.

It lists Family Sharing as a feature on the store page.

I just looked for it myself and it doesn’t show on my son’s account. :(

Thanks for verifying. At least I know it's not just me.

Hades had it so I'm assuming they will activate it later in the early access phase or they may not actually have it and put that feature listing in error.

They may not even be aware that it isn't working.

Just created an account specifically to play Hades II through family sharing, only to see this on the Steam Deck:

When I switch accounts on PC it works fine, but when I switch accounts on my Deck I also get this error for every game in my Library, even ones that are explicitly marked as having Family Sharing enabled.

I had to change to the BETA release channel on the Deck. You will also need to switch to the Family Sharing BETA on desktop if you want to enable sharing there, too.

Unfortunately, on the Deck, when I hit "Play" the system starts "Launching ..." but then immediately cancels and the games don't start. This seems to be related to Play Time Limits. However, on the Deck, the notice is not provided so it's not clear why the game fails to launch. On PC you get a clear notice that you're out of time.

Hi, Family Sharing is fully enabled for Hades II. If you run into any issues using it, please let us know!

My son is getting "This game does not support Steam Family sharing" when trying to start either Hades or Hades II.

My son is getting "This game does not support Steam Family sharing" when trying to start either Hades or Hades II.

First please try closing all copies of Hades II across your accounts first, then starting it on the account you’d like to share to.

Then go to Account > Family Management > Library, search for Hades, right-click on it, then explicitly allow the game for your son's account. Then go to the Manage tab and left-click on it to give it a blue border.

Please also check that his account is fully enabled to share the game under Settings -> Family and any parental controls you might have enabled.

More info from Steam is also available here:

Let me know if that doesn't resolve it!
