Hades had it so I'm assuming they will activate it later in the early access phase or they may not actually have it and put that feature listing in error.
They may not even be aware that it isn't working.
I had to change to the BETA release channel on the Deck. You will also need to switch to the Family Sharing BETA on desktop if you want to enable sharing there, too.
Unfortunately, on the Deck, when I hit "Play" the system starts "Launching ..." but then immediately cancels and the games don't start. This seems to be related to Play Time Limits. However, on the Deck, the notice is not provided so it's not clear why the game fails to launch. On PC you get a clear notice that you're out of time.
First please try closing all copies of Hades II across your accounts first, then starting it on the account you’d like to share to.
Then go to Account > Family Management > Library, search for Hades, right-click on it, then explicitly allow the game for your son's account. Then go to the Manage tab and left-click on it to give it a blue border.
Please also check that his account is fully enabled to share the game under Settings -> Family and any parental controls you might have enabled.
