We can look into lowering these in the future but can't make any guarantees.
Though i do understand the desire to lock out underspec'd computers to avert the otherwise inevitable complaints by folks expecting it to run well on their potatoes.
I'm at work on a 2015 MacBook running Crossover for Windows compatibility, so I was expecting 5 FPS. I just wanted a taste

I mean, just for the sake of science, aren't you at Supergiant not just a liiiittle curious how it runs, and could pretty please offer a bypass to the requirement lockouts?
Please. It doesn't matter if we'll be running on extra low or something, just let us have a taste :(
The minimum specs are something you could find in a computer thats on something like facebook marketplace for $2-300, and youll probably get better specs than the minimum.

Is there a way to turn off the message so people can at least open the game to see if it can run?
It's so odd to lock people out of the game like this. It's one thing if we open the game and no matter what we do it runs bad, but to not be unable to even launch the game. I have ran many games that my pc didn't even come close to meeting the minimum specs for; after some fine tuning with the settings. I hope they change this odd lock out. Give us a chance to at least try something.
