Hades II

Hades II

Athena and Dionysus boons should not be rollable
Since both Athena and Dionysus are not regular boon giving gods, the boons they offer should be fixed for each night and players should not be able to roll their offerings. Hades 2 has too many ways to get Death Defiances which makes the game kinda easy. Echo can give back all your DDs, and if you still lose all of them you can use Athena's keepsake to make her show up and roll her boons until you get the boon that replenishes all your DDs.

On top of that, there are players who would only take Divine Dash from Athena and roll the boons until they get that. Her other boons are also interesting but no one seems to bother. Forcing players to choose from 3 fixed boons each night from these two gods can make the game slightly more challenging, but surely a lot more interesting.

Any thoughts?

I think they should be rollable because boons from Artemis and Hades are.

Also it seems people do bother with Mental Block. I even read it's better than Divine Dash.

My dude, if you think the game is too easy, just raise the Fear level to 50 or above. Come back after you beat that.

Rather make hammers rollable as well.

Just don't roll, dude. Why you care about what other players do?

This is an interesting perspective. Lots of people think the difficulty should be uniform. Is it to be 'comparable' to other players?
But you're also correct that it's SP and you can 'manually' increase your difficulty by not playing optimally/making 'bad choices'.

To me it feels wrong to make those 'poor choices' for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on it...
