If SGG were cruel, they'd make it so Cerberus only accepts pets if you leave him alone 10 runs in a row.

I never try to pet him because he very obviously does not want to be pet.

my best guess is that once we are allowed to build up relationships with someone else we meet in that room we'll get the means to get the doggo to eventually warm up to us.

I've noticed one thing so far with the big pup, (spoilers), Only one time he wasnt there. After I went and completed the 24 affix run one Cronus, he wasnt there when I went to see Hades.

i recon its a little like how in 1 where higher fear/heat sometimes gave new dialogue/story so we need to get to that room on higher fear to see the continuation of that story bit
