Issue: Unraveling a Fateful Bond (Spoiler)

Hello -

After a dozen runs to the surface, I looked up some guides on what I was to expect, due to the constant scripted dying without the incantation Unraveling a Fateful Bond.

Assumedly, Moros is supposed to appear after death number X. However, he has not appeared, and I have yet to see anything point towards learning this incantation. I've gathered all reagents I found on every surface run, which usually only lasts 3 zones.

Am I missing something?

I'm not supposed to have fought or killed Chronos in the underworld at this point, right?

I thought the same, but you actually need to go deeper (to chronos) and talk with chaos. Idk why skelly guy said that I need to run outside as fast as I can which lead to me dying like 10 times for nothing...

You need to run outside because of the materials that can only be gathered on the surface. It took me two runs to get them, I can imagine needing more depending on luck..?

He tells you that so you go and collect 2 moss from the surface that spawns in first room.
Everything else in in underworld.
