How many nights needed for defeating Chronos?

On my tenth night I finally reached Chronos for the first time. I died pretty quickly because I didn't know yet what his attack pattern will be. Next run I reached him again and died again before I could even reaching half of his health bar.

How many nights have you needed to reach him and then defeating him?

I said to my self, I will not watch any guides/tips before I defeated him the first time.

The title is a bit misleading. I could have said it better, that's true. It actually boils down to the question of how often others have needed for him.

I don't remember how many nights it took me but I'll say this: defeating him early on is possible but basically RNG. Without giving you any spoiler, there is a boon that you can get from Zeus that will obliterate him if combined with one of the hammer bonuses OR one of Apollo's boons. You could kill him on the fifth night (for example), and then die to him 10 nights in a row.

Took me until the 22nd night, playing the same way as you with no looking up builds or reading/watching guides.

Edit: just double checked and I'm currently on night 25.

Im at 25 night and i got to him 4 times every attempt failed, at... I will no spoiler why

Night 50 more or less, done 16 heat win over chronos. He's actually quite easy if you fight patiently and carefully. On higher difficulties getting to him is actually more annoying to me than the fight itself.

I think I got to him the first time around night 8 or so. I think it was around underworld run 20 when I got the first win against him. It took me a long, long time to figure out his tells, since a lot of them are very similar to each other but the moves themselves require a different way to avoid them.

Defeated him the first time on night 29. But since then I have maybe lost 5 runs. I'm now on night 56 and beat both Chronos and Eris on Heat 16.

I actually managed to beat him the 2nd time I reached him! I had a pretty strong build, apparently! Also my game glitches the first attempt and I was unable to dash during the 2nd phase. I legitimately thought it was part of his fight. 😆

Did it just now, 20 hours in. Night 25, but that includes a few Chaos trial/surface runs. I kept reaching Chronos but died without a chance until I tried the Zeus cast build (with the throw boon) I saw recommended. I got a Chaos boon that gave me +56% dmg on it and I finally did chunky damage. Doing damage while being far away from him helped so much.

It took me til night 25, with 4-5 suicide runs for surface materials included in there.

The main contributors to a first win: upgrade Death Defiances with salt and upgrade weapon aspects. Once you get that sorted, you're golden. Takes a few runs for all those features to unlock, though.
