How to meet Medea?

40 hours now, never seen her, do i have carry something? only one keepsake left

She is a random room spawn in the town on the surface.
Once in the city, you have to look for the same icon that every other "friendly" room has.

You mean rooms with wings, but I never seen such room in the square😢

It does seem to have a relatively low spawn rate. I know it took a number of runs for me to first see her room spawn. It's always on the far right at the burning bridge - no other room will spawn in that spot to my knowledge.

Problem is, of course, waiting for it to show up.

Spawn rate is way too low, only seen her once in 60 hrs. You can't gift people on first visit either so missing last keepsake too, yeah.

Any idea if having the weapon with aspect of medea makes any difference?

I've never run Medea's aspect (though I have unlocked it) and I'm seeing roughly the same frequency, so that can't be it. My best guess is that odds of seeing her increase after the first time you visit her? Which, if true, is hardly encouraging for the people who've yet to run across her once.

I can confirm her aspect is not necessary. I tend to only use the default aspects for the moment as they were the fastest to get to rank 5.

I can also confirm that her doorway is not randomly placed within the square; it will always take up a specific entryway on the right side of town... if it's not open, gotta try again some other night

I am not. My most used weapon is the dagger and sickle.

I guess the way to test whether using someone's aspect increases the frequency with which you see them would be to throw on Circe's aspect and see if she shows up as well. My general sense has been that the helpful NPCs seem to crop up more reliably in H2 than the first game, though maybe the rate has been deliberately inflated for Early Access? It would help with testing unusual bugs and edge cases, I'd assume.
