Change Hera Boon?

First and foremost, let me say that I am amazed by how polished this game is. There is already so much greatness in it. However, if I had to choose one thing to improve, it would be the boons—especially Hera’s boon. I believe it doesn’t offer the same possibilities on its own as the other boons do.

Hera’s boon focuses on chain damage, where afflicted foes take 30% of the damage dealt to other afflicted foes. This feels similar to Zeus’s boon from Hades 1, but with, unnecessary complexity .

Unfortunately, Hera’s boon can be awkward to use. Most of the time, the status effect is only useful when enemies are close together. You need to hit multiple enemies before damage can be chained between them. In my opinion, the casting ability is already more effective for close groups of enemies, making it a better alternative.

Additionally, the status effect doesn’t bring much utility on its own. Using Hera’s effect on a boss doesn’t do much, as few enemies spawn. This makes the effect of Hera’s boon not very compelling enough for me to use a a main boon.

Therefore, I’d like to suggest a redevelopment of Hera’s boon. I’m eager to hear suggestions for what her boon could be. perhaps something in the line of Ares burst damage with an addes area of effect explosion

Not every boon is helpful against bosses.

One common complaint for Hades 2 is the amount of adds during bosses so I think hitch is still helpful for bosses (except hecate. But. It's hecate)

Being able to do massive amounts of chain damage isn't exactly comparable with omega casting tho right? Lol

As someone who regularly plays with the +60% enemies during an encounter modifier, I love Hera's boons. I do find some of her boons a bit awkward, like needing every boon to be higher than common rarity or the focus on sacrificing previously obtained boons for higher Pom levels on the new one, but I'm a big fan of Hitch. Great for clearing chaff in regular rooms or in boss fights and I'll take just about any curse for the arcana damage buff.
