Poseidon Problems

Am I the only one that finds most of his boons underwhelming? Knock back is neat and all but most times I'll take almost anything else, just like in the first game.

Poseidon was mid as hell in the first game but probably the best out of all of them in this one. Flat damage is so, so good. Slip is good, his sprint boon is good, spirit bubbles are excellent. He might genuinely be the best out of all of them, with Demeter and Zeus being contenders.

My only issue with slip is I barely see it.

It's like trying to get Poseidon for a curse in Hades 1. I'll go through a whole run without the option.

I have not, but have thought about a dash based build. How does a surfing run usually go for you?

It's good fun. As long as you have a way to regen magick, because it burns through it pretty fast. All you end up having to do is sprint past enemies, knocking them out of the way and dealing decent damage to them. You have to be a little more careful with bosses because they don't knockback obviously, but it's surprisingly effective. Not the most powerful by any means, but it feels fun, and that's the point, right?

Double Up is the wildest boon in the game, I am shocked it hasn't been nerfed yet. I feel like it almost always triggers, even at common rarity. Pays for itself multitudes over. Getting double centaur hearts, money, poms, etc, is redonkalous

Bro, Poseidon and Hestia Duo is amazing! also, knifes with Poseidon special and daedalus that return the special back for back stab is SO strong! Poseidon is great!
