Nemesis Steals my Kills

I've noticed it especially with the axe, which takes longer to attack with, but Nemesis always takes the last hit on enemies and more often than not, I lose to her, she steals my money or health and then runs into a door before me. At the moment, she is a poor Thanatos substitute and I do not enjoy encountering her.

Think that's how it's meant to be, she ain't really here to be your pal. Seeing her should be an "urgh"-experience.

You can beat her to the door and the shop items if you rush there first. The fights themselves are what they are, your best bet is to let her hit first then steal her kills. If you're low on DPS or she shows up really early and is just oneshotting enemies, sucks to suck, bye bye coins.

First time encountering her in an attempt. Yeah I assume she's like the Thanatos of this game, but the less edgy less interesting female version.

she does become more interesting as you play. but even with that, some builds just make it really hard to beat her. if it's a non-burst build that does a lot damage over time, or take long times to hit. it will be a nightmare facing here

Which leads to a lot of standing around waiting for her to hit things, which isn't very fun either.

I mean axe is pretty strong with omega right-click and at least 1 offering boosting it?
you should not have any problems with killing enemies faster or stealing her kills with that.

Just try to time it better/get to enemies faster and use omega left-click
never normal attacks.

I hate her she just steals all my kills because my build did not random luck into massive burst so I get to lose a ♥♥♥♥ ton of gold or HP. This ♥♥♥♥ and eris giving you the +20% stacking debuff is a real garbage way to try to pad gametime by forcing runs that could be a win, into a loss.

This. I've challenged her maybe 8-10 times now. She's never beaten me. I've even held her down to 1 kill one time while I had 29 or 31 (the challenges blur together lol). The closest she's gotten was having half my kills. But that was when I was trying out a new weapon I wasn't used to. But I also have a lot of Hades 1 experience.
