Is this the full game or only a portion of it? I'm wondering if I should get it now or later when its out of early access.

There are two "paths" you can take during a run and one of them ends after 2 bosses with no "win" screen, so there's definitely a portion of the game that's not complete.

It's in Early Access, so no, it is not the full game. Great game even if it is not complete. Worth more than the asking price if you ask me. :P

It's ~80% complete. The devs are taking at least until 2025 to gather player feedback, tweak mechanics, polish the art, and add the remaining ~20% of content. We can expect significant content updates every few months, with smaller patches and tweaks in between.

If you want the "full vision" of the game, you should wait until the official launch — though note that the price will likely increase between now and then.

Otherwise, jump in now to be a part of the "ride" and provide feedback to help the devs polish everything up.

In-game developer notes says version 1.0 is going to be released at the end of this year, and some new stuff will be added as well. If you REALLY liked the original Hades (like me), then buy it. It's amazing.
