How would we play this coop? Online / local network with each player having his own screen might work. But that does not provide the cozy vibes of couch-coop.
Couch-coop suffers from the problem of having to split the screen (i.e. not being able to see what hit me, foes out of visible range most of the time) or having both players forced in the same are by one method or another (my daughter and I had this with many games on our switch) and there is rarely a good way to manage that.
Even though a coop game sounds great, a game has to be coop from concept on, or it won't by much fun to play together.
