best is Demeter's gale-on-cast plus a different curse on the cast, so just the cast will trigger the two curse debuff. i like Hera or Zeus on the special
Bosses will be a bit less auto win, but since hera counts for origination it will still be very strong
Hestia scorch on either special or cast. Get additonal damage to armor and fire extinguisher/explosions. Zeus is chain lightning blitz on attack/special then just additonal lighnting and the blitz effects. His infusion is only useful on builds of a lot of small hits. And Hestia's infusion is good on flames swords but none of the rest but have to gain large fire elements which forces you into Apollo and Heph's explosions and his damage buff. So can kinda be meh.
Aphrodite attack boon is insane on Axe/second aspect of torch/ twin blades. Her special boon meh and weak just makes it easier to survive and her infusion is one of the top ones in the game due to dodge being your strongest survival mechanic. And Hermes dodge boon is air as well so yeah. Her prime makes your attack hit even harder and if high level/rarity her healing boon gets down to 40% HP. Heartbreaker is just a win for using omega skills or certain dashes. It's damage is HIGH, combine with her attack boon on the axe and her prime ability you can literally kill armor satyr summoners with a dash attack after using omega special to get heart throb orb.
Weak is easy to maintain with her cast or gain. Gain goes Hera then Heph then her. If you get her cast gain and Hera/Aphrodite duo she has mana regen on par with Hera/Heph.
Poseidon just mass AoEs tons of resources which includes mana and his infusion/prime makes surviving easy and his damage modifier is the best in the game. Not to mention knockback damage and slip which can give you two of the best dps duo boons and his duo with Hera is insane. Just hoard gold for insane damage and his Aphrodite combo gives her further damage reduction. And if have her gain makes it the whole field.
So try to get at least one of Hera/Poseidon/Aphrodite if not two. If get Hera try to get Heph/Demeter to ensure you activate her infusion. If get Aphrodite will have to either aim for Hermes for air or get Zeus/Apollo for her infusion just to ensure it activates. Zeus's infusion can be skipped unless get scorch/poseidon/hitch/chainlightning need as many as possible for its damage modifier to be effective.
If get Hera can skip Zeus. Their duo just dilutes the boon pool. Apollo just get if have cast build started or need fire/air element for respected infusions. Apollo is the one you can skip the most. He brings the least to the table overall cause of how mismatched his kit is. And if get Hera, Apollo's two best ways to apply daze is better applying hitch with Hera and her comeback does much more damage. Be careful with Hestia. Can be forced to take something you don't want due to her hp/mana increase boon. Hestia special/attack boons are useless on specific weapons due to low attack speed or ammo in case of skill. And if no slip(Poseidon) or fire extinguisher or legendary and aren't using Zeus (his infusion buffs her scorch tons) her scorch is weak against bosses.
Aphrodites heal to full (when you are above ..%) allows you to make mistakes.
recipe : spam special; respam special, re-re spam special (omega that slow time is veery usefull for this build) just aim for a safe landing spot and pass just beside the mobs
Axe + demeter attack = free win one chomp = everything is freeze, by the time the freeze stops you have already clear the room, if you play omega attack it is even more "fun" (but requires some placement so a bit less braindead)
Dagger have not a braindead build IMO; maybe pan + special-centric but I didn't played it enough to judge (I play Melinoe and Omega attacks on dagger usually but it requires some carefull placement to not be crushed in the middle of the melee)
Flame is IMO quite easy but the forum seems to disagree; poseidon attack boon poseidon regen or hera regen press attack and never release it, dash to reset the autoaim if necessary, it is a ranged gameplay so it can be troublesome for some people
Staff depends grandly on what the run gave you; special poseidon = ok special it is; aphrodite attack, ok auto attack it is etc.. so no braindead as you have to build on the fly but have the advantage that both build are usually interchangeable during the run too but IMO the least braindead weapon as you have to switch between attack and specials depending on the content of the room
TLDR :
Skull special is busted just take a heavy manaregen
Axe with demeter's attack = free run
I don't speak Boss-wise as the real danger is the rooms before; if you clear the act without getting hit, normally the boss is supposedly a breeze. (except Chronos)
Hestia on special and Demeter on cast. Sprint in, throw cast, sprint out, channel special. Rinse and repeat. This aspect doesn't need to be fully upgraded to become effective so it should be good when you're still farming resources.
For hammer upgrade, look for Hook Knives, then any upgrade focuses on boosting omega special performance (faster channeling and reduced magick cost are some solid modifications)
You'll need a reliable magick regen mechanism; Hera's, Hestia's, or Poseidon's gain all work pretty well with this aspect.
(2 boons required) By far the safest is Zeus lighting bolts in Omega cast + either Zeus or Hestia's fireball to range/target the cast. Automatic game win.
