Hades II

Hades II

The game feels . . . "weird"
Just started playing the game and got to the final boss for the first time yesterday, couldn't beat him, but the first thing i felt was:

THE GAME IS TOO SHORT!!!

Like, i feel that in Hades 1 i had to through more fights and more enemies before reaching the end and it was great. Why? Because it allowed me to play more with the RNG build of that run, it allowed me to feel like i built a good run piece by piece.

In Hades 2, i feel more like "Well, didn't get the good itens in the first 5 runs, this run is done for", but in Hades 1, even with "Bad itens" i still felt like "Ok, i can work around this and beat this run".

Anyone else feel like this?

Surface is longer and very difficult
Game is at least twice as long the first one.

I feel like the surface adds a lot of content, so they probably figured that the climb/descent can be each be shorter than the length of the climb in Hades I. That being said, I feel like I'm getting near the end of the surface climb too, so maybe I still feel like it's a bit short. We'll see how much content gets added between now and release though.
