There are two big updates scheduled before the final release. One should come around this month/February, the second one (we can guess) around second to third quarter of the year and the full release by the end of the year.
Supergiant have a nice record of being on track with their schedules so I don't expect any (major) delays as well.
Or I should just sit down and be patient. I'm just super excited to play after some stuff I heard.
Everyone on the fence right now I say
"Wait for the next big update, that's right around the corner, the game won't still be finished, but there will be plenty of content until the next big and penultimate patch"
Besides I did all the main stuff like beat it 10 times, unlocked each dual boon and maxed out all the gods convos for the actual final ending. If not, I'd probably be striving for that.
I've been skipping many Rouge lites simular to Hades, such as Windblown, just to keep the anticipation strong.
I bought the game on day 1 of the early release and I don't regret it. It's an action roguelike, so you are going to run through everything repeatedly anyways. I've reached how far I can go after each update and then I wait for the next one. I'm enjoying playing it this way and so far it hasn't affected my enjoyment of the game at all.
