Hades II

Hades II

Estimate on how close is this game to being 1.0?
I'm dying to play this game. Bought it awhile ago to support the team because Hades is a top 10 (5?) Game for me.

I just didn't want to start playing and lose progress or miss out on stuff added to the beginning after hours of playing. I'm also not planning to discard dozens of hours of play to start over. Just didn't want to get burnt out before it was fully done.

So with that said, any ideas on about how much longer til its release? I'd start now if it seems pretty close and the beginning of the game is practically all done.

You can check the Xmas post the devs made where they give an estimate.

There are two big updates scheduled before the final release. One should come around this month/February, the second one (we can guess) around second to third quarter of the year and the full release by the end of the year.

Supergiant have a nice record of being on track with their schedules so I don't expect any (major) delays as well.
Thanks for your response. Considering they are huge updates, I may just wait for the first one at least. I would assume that the beginning should be mostly done by that point.

Or I should just sit down and be patient. I'm just super excited to play after some stuff I heard.

Everyone on the fence right now I say
"Wait for the next big update, that's right around the corner, the game won't still be finished, but there will be plenty of content until the next big and penultimate patch"
Yeah I'll definitely wait for at least that. I've been itching to play the original also but again, I don't want to burn myself out.

Besides I did all the main stuff like beat it 10 times, unlocked each dual boon and maxed out all the gods convos for the actual final ending. If not, I'd probably be striving for that.

I've been skipping many Rouge lites simular to Hades, such as Windblown, just to keep the anticipation strong.

Not trying to change anyone's mind, but here's what I've been doing.

I bought the game on day 1 of the early release and I don't regret it. It's an action roguelike, so you are going to run through everything repeatedly anyways. I've reached how far I can go after each update and then I wait for the next one. I'm enjoying playing it this way and so far it hasn't affected my enjoyment of the game at all.

you can try other rogue lites imo, enjoying one game does not take away from another, but that's my personal opinion
