I finally beat Typhon last night on my 3rd attempt. It was with 0 fear, but still, it wasn't easy. Sharing my build below in case it helps anyone.

Aspect of Artemis, Stabbing Rush, Smolder Ring, Vicious Strike, Flame Flourish, Tough Gain, Wicked Onslaught, Gale (familiar).

Grievous Blow, Stutter Step, Pyro Technique, Success Rate, Uncanny Fortitude, Flash Fry, Visceral Impact, Skulking Onslaught.

Bottomless Drink, Master Conductor (Duo), Divine Dash, Slow Cooker, Static Shock, Coffin Nail (Duo), Electric Overlord.

Death to Chronos!

How did you get Gale. I've pet him at least 7 times before prometheus. is it really more than that?

you need to give it pet food (forgot the name) the one you use to level them up.

Do you have all the other pets unlocked?

For me (and some other people here) encountering Gale only twice was enough.
The second time I met him I was able to give him the treat and create a bond.

It was the most straightforward pet I've had.

Yup. Since you already pet/greeted her, it should be an option now.
