Oh the second major update. I missed the first since I last played. Will I be able to continue or should I start a new game from scratch? Also, once it's fully released will we have to start all over again from the beginning?

I'm blind and can't find stuff.

So what version does this make it now?
I know it's not 1.0

Is it safe to now play?
I don't want to do dozens of runs progressing so many story-lines just to have an impactful amount of story be still missing.

Our goal is to maintain your save data all through Early Access and into v1.0, so whether you start over or keep going with an existing save is up to you. If you'd like to make sure to get the full story experience, starting over may be for the best. If you'd like to see all the newest changes, since many of them are later on, going from your existing save may be best.

At the moment we're aware some players are having issues with their save data on the new Major Update. This is not intended and we're actively investigating this.

It's a bug. Developers working on hotfix. You may mouse over your save and press B. You'll see backups. Click the first and play from your last save.

Is there a proper ending for the underworld route now? Like, can I go in [REDACTED]'s room after defeating Chronos? Or does Homer still cut in with a "sorry, here's an anticlimax" and send you back to the Crossroads?

Has anyone else run into a major bug since this update? I've had run into it on separate instances both on PC & Steam Deck where picking up a boon, or even in one of the boss fights, my game fully freezes and I can only quit to the main menu or give up, but am perpetually stuck at that moment :(

Wanted to note we just deployed a hotfix to yesterday's Patch 8 with further adjustments to the Argent Skull. As part of this, the patch notes are updated to reflect an additional change to the Skull's Aspect of Melinoë. Thank you for playing and for your feedback!
