Game starts all over from the start when choosing saved game.

Last time i was playing at 20 november 2024. I get into the new update today, pressed Play and choose my Nov20 save. After that, New Game just starts all over from the begining and dumping my old save file which is 40 Hours old into the game. What is wrong? Patch bug? I did end up taking it from Steam Cloud, but still - i cant start playing.

I have the same issue.
If you mousse over the savefile and press "B", it will let you load previous savefiles and allow you to recover your progress, but I still haven't managed to get the game to normally load the savefile without starting over from the beggining.

i tried to load mine up but it never starts up at all! idk whats going on

Well, look like a bug or something. I'll wait a bit. Hope this gets fixed.

https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage U can get the saves from your own SteamCloud Storage, or try the thing the guy up there suggested. Or u can get into C: User/SavedGames and look for the saves there. As a Early Acsess game it makes extra save files and names it .bak. You just need to choose the most latest of your playthroughs and delete ".bak" from its name. The game will see the progress then. Dont foget to turn off steam cloud though before resaving.

60 hours into the game, and I just lost my progress too...

When I hover with mouse and press B, I've got 8 identically named files "01/01/70 01:00 - Profile1.sav".
I loaded the last one, it seems to be working.

The first file in the list is your last backup.
