OP has been banned twice already, and yet comes back.
Wind's howling
Make that thrice.
Steam Forums were ALWAYS cesspits of weirdos though, that's not even inaccurate. Though it's ironic to see any of YOU posting about THAT!
I mean this in the best possible way, but... Calling people names and insisting they are bigots for disagreeing just isn't very productive in any sense of the word. In these forums so far you have by far been the most hostile and aggressive force.
I agree with some of the stuff you've brought up, like there should be more representation of genderqueer or just... Generally queer people. But demanding that a relatively small indie studio change their game to suit what you want is entitled at best and harassing at worst. Especially when you start saying they are owards or bigots for not catering to your exact sensibilities. You can state your opinion, give criticism in good faith and sure, some people will make fun of you but generally speaking things would be fine.
On top of that, and more specific to the topic you brought up as OP here, there is no one canon of Greek mythology. And it's very obvious that SuperGiant isn't aiming for as historically faithful an adaptation as possible. I can imagine you being disappointed, but they're not 'just' doing a frat boy thing with him, there's a lot more to the portrayal. They're using his established character from Hades 1 to comment on escapism, depression and what coping mechanisms people can turn to when they feel powerless. I happen to think Dionysus' portrayal is very powerful and understated in some ways, it's one of my favourite thigns about Hades 2 so far.
Just, you know, please stop the vitriol and the yelling at/projecting onto people. If you're interested in conversation you're gonna have to let other people speak without attacking them the moment they express a perspective different from yours.
I'm actually curious to see how many times one gets to be banned until it's banned permanently.
(I've reported him this time)
I've already got notifications from your most recent bad faith reports. This time it didn't matter.
PS. I am not getting involved nor am i really aware of whatever drama is occurring above, idk the guy I just agree with the sentiment that Dionysus could have been dealt with better
