A note about Selene
There are some pros and cons that I've noticed that I'd like to adress. First I'd like to say that I really like the update they have been given, many of the hexes feel a lot better than they used to.

The first on the list in the path of stars that comes with each upgrades. Each hex has multiple paths of stars with different upgrades that may or may not be there and in locations that can take more or less investment than you'd expect from previous useage. In a way this keeps it interesting in using hexes, but at the same time it makes it stressful to pick them in the first place. The worst part about it is that you can not check it beforehand er even after picking it making picking Selene a pretty big gamble. Especially deciding to invest more into the hex or to just leave it be. I'd realy appreciate being able to see the path of stars from the moment it's given and to be able to check it throughout the run. That way we can make an informed decision on wether or not to take Selene's boons or trinket in the future.

If we take Twilight Curse for example, the one that morphs enemies, if exposure and decline aren't in it there is no reason for me to pick it since the most interesting part about hexes are either more DPS or invulnerability time so I can take bosses out ASAP or be safe vs high risk situations.
And the same goes for Lunar Ray, if it has Prominence (where it keeps firing from location) it's useable to very good, but itf it's not in there it's practically useless. And each type of Hex has their curiosities that can make them useless on full moon or better than the rest in waning moon.

And that is kind of the thing why I still don't like hexes all that much compared to the calls we had in 1. In a way Hexes are more fun and interesting because of their flexibility but at the same time there's just a chance it's completely useless or overpowered depending on the mix you get. Have you gotten Lunar Ray with Prominence, Trinity and Overflow before? I did, I easily nuked the entire road to Zeus' palace including Typhon. But while I consider Moon Water the best of all the hexes I've also goten that with Trbulation, Saturation and too many Purities, it felt super meh.

Many of my issues are just RNG related that is part of the core of the game genre, it's not often that evertyhing goes your way and that's part of the fun. But players do need to be able to make an informed decision on progression, that's the trade off that keeps it interesting IMO.
