Winter Harvest

Do I need a special bond with Demeter to get her legendary boon? In multiple runs, I've had all prerequisites, both arcana cards that increase rare and epic+ better boons, her keepsake and fought mini-bosses for a Demeter boon, but it never showed up. Am I simply that unlucky or there is something in-game that I need to do before she gives it to me? I've had many other legendary boons without problems but this one seems impossible to get

Seriously... Even for RNG standards, Hades 2 can have some of the wonkiest I've seen.

Seconding. And it feels like devs are messing with RNG with every update- for a moment I had runs with literally no nectar for 20 runs or so, or I had Chaos Legendary show up 5 times in a row 4 times when I was running Athena keepsake or for a week straight I had Ephira with noside rooms to only have sides in every possible place. Or I only today fially had enhanced enemies prophecy filled despite running double vow since the olympus update, because I was missng one enhancment.
RNG is really wonky and needs fine tuning.

I'll never forget when I got Selene as a starting boon EIGHT TIMES IN A ROW.
(no, I wasn't using her keepsake, obviously. But also it happened at least a couple of times where I was using her keepsake and went through an entire biome without seeing Selene once....)

I have an addiction run since before the major update. I aim to have as many Legendary boons as possible.
The answer to your problem is Natural Selection duo boon, aim to get it as early as Erebus/Ephyra. If you're luckier, a Chaos Favor boon will be on the way.
But Natural Selection is the best way to get those Legendary boons. Just plan ahead on what 4 gods you will be getting.

EDIT: Finally got Winter Harvest. Bought it from Charon just before Chronos. Not the best use for a legendary, but still, won't complain!

But Winter Harvest works for bosses as well, so it wasn't *completely* to waste hahaha

I'm not 100% sure but I think I once got it when I had this curse running where a boon gets locked if you don't pick it. So I had the prerequisites fulfilled obviously and the last boon I picked up from her had no other choices than her legendary one. So this curse may be useful when hunting for legendaries.

This was apparently not intentional. The devs changed the logic, so you're no longer guaranteed duos/legendaries after you exhaust all other boons. Have to roll the dice same as usual.

Winter Harvest works best with bosses. I hope you saw Chronos ironically slained by a scythe. Eris can't even do the last buff vs Winter Harvest.
