Mystery Seeds

I just began playing recently but I've gotten mystery seeds 3 times, and each time theyre Nightshade. I dont know if this is a bug, but spending so much time in Elysium, I dont need more nightshade seeds, lol. Anyone else noticed this?

I'll be honest with you man. Every time I've planted these, I've never remembered to check after the run what I actually got from it lol

Nightshade is definitely the most common for me, but I have gotten wheat, cattails, and garlic out of them as well. I suspect specific reagents are unlocked on their list after X runs that make it to at least their respective floor. I've never had them give me a plant I hadn't already grown from the normal seeds.

I wasn't keeping check, but I know I didn't get any poppy's. I feel like it should be an equal chance for any seed. But it definitely does not feel that way and it sucks. Hopefully they change it.

pretty sure I managed to get mandrake once or twice, cattails too, I think its most definitely stacked to give you the earlier drops more often

I believe it's random from all seeds of plants gotten at least once. So if you've been a bit stuck in Erebus and haven't really gotten seeds for other plants, you'll always get nightshade.
Not sure how it's weighted though, it seems to be fairly equal chances to me, but I have not planted nearly enough mystery seeds to be certain of that.
