Shadow update or am I crazy?

So I have been playing this for quite a while, and once you get the arcana card that you get from using the Z-sand, you are supposed to get three arcana cards activated at random whenever you defeat a guardian. Now, earlier when I had first earned the card you were were greeted with a pleasant little surprise when you go and fight Scylla because it activated for each of the three. Meaning when you killed Roxy, and Jetty in turn, you would get 3 cards activated, totaling nine at the end of the fight.

Today, no such luck.

I mean, I figured it would get nerfed in a patch, but one hasn't happened since I played yesterday.

Everyone's who's described this trick mentioned that they revived a boss. Not that you automatically got 9 from this fight, or so I thought.

Interesting. I have revived them in the fights, but I didn't think that it would have been connected. Looks like I'm gonna do some more testing. Thanks

Good luck. Like does it only trigger when you rekill Boss A? Will it trigger if you kill boss A, B, then rekill whatever you summon?
