Again... wtf is Eris?
Hello fellow Americans, I ask for your support once again. This time emotional support cause I legit do not know wtf are you suppose to do vs eris during her last phase. Literally every boss in the game I can easy easily take or like Chronos not so easily and even lose half of the time but know it's a skill issue... With Eris however like wtf is this boss?

So 90% of the fight is not exactly flowers but not too unfair. Like yes, there a snipe move that has no tell on when it shoots but you can learn the timing and use pillars. There is fire all over the place but you can somewhat avoid it even when she decides to stand in it half the fight. There are 100 year long bombardment segments but you can kite those.

Then comes last 10% of the fight which is just Eris unleashing full barrage of bullets and then with no recovery frames she just takes off, fully invincible and then lands somewhere else to repeat it. As far as I am aware there is no tell where she lands, unless I am missing one? So you are at RNG mercy and can't really wait for her to land somewhere reliably, There next to nothing you can do with most weapons as far as I can tell to close this distance withing eating half hp bar of bullets. There is no punishing it as she just goes full invincible and takes off. So like again, wtf are you suppose to do here? Every time I beat her feels like pure rng bs, like I just did not die at al the entire runl till her last 10% hp and so there I go spending 3 dds and luckier tooth just to take her out.

Again.... wtf is this boss and wtf are you suppose to do there?

Easiest way to deal with it is to grab the slowdown with omega moves arcana and use the slow right before she comes down. Shoot her with your omega and dash right through her afterwards, no need for good reflexes.

At the end you can either use a pillar to block her shots or time your dash and run sideways as soon as she starts shooting

Go find the other thread where the guy says Eris is too easy and needs to be buffed and ask that guy how he's beating her because he says he clears her without taking damage all the time.

I find the strategy of dashing thru her back(and keep smacking her) when she is initiating her attacks works on most of hers attacks.

As a general solution: she's a ranged fighter, so keep in melee range to her. Run tight circles around or dash through her, she can't turn fast enough to track you. If she lands nearly, run to her and do your stuff; if she lands far, stay away from the shots until you can get closer. To block the sniper shot you may try to hide behind Lord uncle Freenose the toad back.

Hephaestus baboons may be useful: run close, do explosive damage, reposition, repeat. Or dump Selene's nuclear bomb on Eris head.

(Sorry for being non-american)

A casual reminder that about 80% of weapons and boons are complete trash so far. Yesterday got Zeus and Hephaestus curses on staff - absolutely facerolled Eris, keeping reasonable distance, moving from her attacks and blasting her in the downtime. It's amazing how easy bosses become once the game allows you to actually deal damage to them.

I find that funny since I think Zeus is trash and Hephaestus while having good boons is not great for doing damage.

They deal incredible burst in very small opening window, especially together. perfect against what Eris does. Kinda ♥♥♥♥ against crowds.

She has a gun
Stay behind her, the blind spot for her is massive

If she's backed up to a wall don't even try going for her before she does a reposition to a place you can circle her

Hmmmm that's a fair point, I suppose. I still think I'd take Poseidon or Aphrodite over either most of the time.

Zeus cast is really good against bosses.

Hephaestus has a decent sprint but it falls off in higher fear as soon as you get 2 blue hearts.

Tips for Eris:
1. Always be at her back, best done by dashing through her. This will nullify MOST of her attacks.
2. When she does the targeted shot that hits for a ton of damage, either hide behind a pillar or if you have no pillars left, put a bunch of distance between you and her and SPRINT left to right or up to down (depending on eris' starting position)
3. When she gets to the final stage and starts teleporting around firing rapid fire shots, simply keep you distance from her till she is done freaking out... She only does the teleport rapid fire attack like 3-5 times...

With these tips she is definitely easier then chronos and possibly easier then cerebrus depending on how tough he is for you.
Hootaholic May 25, 2024 @ 8:09am
You can cheese her fight really easily by hiding behind those pillars when she's in her shooting phases, and just use the torches special to keep hitting her as you just keep moving around the pillar to avoid her shots.

Then sprint to the other pillar when she's using her aoe/missle attacks

(her purple shot does destory the pillar so make sure to try to aim it at a wall as trying to avoid her

Good boons for her are scorch and lighting ones to keep dropping dmg on her

Good heax is the moon blast and timing it right so it hits while she's aiming, or moonwater is always solid
Gong May 25, 2024 @ 8:15am
I believe she stops doing that after 3 times and return to normal phase? So stay close to the pillars and look out where she lands. Hide behind the pillar and wait for your shots

Thank you, the only person who actually gets the problem I am having. I feel like most people did not read what I said, like clearly I know how to stay on her back and use pillars or I would not make it to last phase of a fight. I thought about using omega slow to see where she lands yesterday after I beat her via hex ZAWARUDO time stop but did not try it yet, good to see that this indeed seems to be the solution.

Oh also dragon balls sucks, but thank you, here an award.
