It's a problem, because bones are much more important for various metaprogression than is prestige. At least the recent minor patch made bones appear decently often again as door rewards; with the Olympus update, they became extremely rare.
Just ignore this Exaxis dude. He's not worth replying to.
Mind you, I'm not trying to complete every Ambrosia interaction...but I am trying to max out every Arcana, which still requires a huge number of bones unless you're just repeating Erebus over and over again for Cinders and Shadows (which would bore me to tears and sounds like it would still be pretty slow). I'm 3 Duo boons away from the 3k for that prophecy, and still have a few more of the gods to pick up Legendary boons on. There are just a ton of bones there.
I do wonder however, how it would feel in a new fresh file. Would I be getting enough bones for all that or would it be such a grind that it might be worth tuning down some of the bone prices?
Star dust and nightmare, for instance. If you want to max out all five familiars (well, five once the last one's implemented), that's 50 witches' treats, which means 25 stardust. If you want to max out all weapon aspects... that's, what, seven nightmare for each non-Melinoë aspect, meaning 70 nightmare in total? OK, you can get some stardust from Chaos trials and some nightmare from fear, but you'll probably end up spending a fair bit of bones and obol points for the rest.
For those that haven't maxed out Arcana, a lot of bones will almost certainly go buying fate fabric and moon dust, too. Certainly does seem like it'd be rather grindy for anybody starting on a fresh file now. I already had them maxed and my familiars were already pretty heavily upgraded, so it's mostly weapon aspects that are my concerns (and, should I choose to eventually get all the decorations... well, some require as much as five star dust, which is pretty wild) but I'd probably feel rather irritated if I had a fresh-er save.
