Hades II

Hades II

Temple of Zeus - Boss Speculation
I'd be perfectly fine with it being Ares (the little stinker!) or Typhon (pretty epic). But if there's an ongoing theme of featuring those that that have been on the receiving end of punishments from the gods, then maybe Atlas is the boss. I bet he could make some of the shaky-shaky happen that we see on the Mt. Olympus level.

I haven't gone digging on the internet so maybe this is already a well-known suggestion, but it's my current favorite (I wanted it to be Ares for some time because I love that Supergiant portrays him is a gentlemanly fan of the ol' ultra-violence and would love to fight that).

But if y'all have other guesses/wishes, feel free to share them.

I forget, is Sisyphus visible in the flashback where everyone got frozen? He was punished by the gods too. Maybe he'll be up on Olympus in the 4th zone, but help you because he's ultimately friends with Zag? If that happens I'd say Atlas is a good bet. Heracles being in the game means they would have some words for eachother.

One of my out-there thoughts is that the final boss this time would be Chaos, since Entropy is the other item needed to brew the anti-Chronos spell. Could be a placeholder, but of all the gods and titans off the top of my head, Chaos matches Entropy the best.

Sisyphus got out when Chronos opened the gates of Underworld. I think Hades mentioned talking with him after he was chained up, leaving Bouldy behind for Hades.

Atlas and Typhon are definitely in line with what we've seen so far. They are excellent guesses.

I guessed Typhon back in like June and I am sticking with that answer.

Typhon would be pretty epic, but I think Atlas would fit better. There's no way a powerhouse like Typhon would ever listen to Chronos. The only question would be, who's holding up the sky?

I'm wondering if Heracles is the last boss. He freed Prometheus in some myths, and seems to be very bitter about his relationship with the gods. (If we run into Ares I'm kind of hoping he's stuck in a Jar because with him missing and massive powers attacking olympus and Artemis and Hermes doing the most to fix this, this story kind of seems to mirror Otus and Ephialtes a bit)

To me Heracles wouldn't make much sense since he actively helps you on the way to the summit - why do all that to end up the big bad?

Though I could probably see squaring off against him in a neutral arena kind of like the Charon fight in the first Hades. While on the same side he is strong enough and salty enough to want to throw down in an exhibition match I bet.

Bro, a neutral fight testing our strength against Heracles would be so sick! I'd love that actually.

I skip the cauldron so often I forgot about the Entropy aspect entirely actually and may change my answer from Typhon after I went to Google.

"In Greek mythology, the Titan most closely associated with the concept of entropy is Erebus, who represents the primordial darkness and void, essentially embodying the state of disorder and lack of form that precedes creation; he is often seen as a child of Chaos, the first being in Greek cosmology, further linking him to the idea of entropy as a state of complete randomness."
