Mostly sticking within the top rows + Strength + Divinity seems the 'safe' way to go, stat-wise, at the cost of letting the rewards be whatever they happen to be.
Taking the reroll cards feels optimal if trying to maximize the odds of getting specific boons (whether to complete prophecies or to complete builds or w/e). It also seems likely to be necessary at least once if you want to complete the "defeat the underworld boss with each Arcana card at least once", because Seer doesn't seem to activate otherwise (like, I had a Judgment + Circe run where I started with Unseen/Eternity/Titan->Judgment and finished with 22 cards active -- the exceptions were Seer, Centaur and Divinity, all of whose requirements were fulfilled by having activated the other 22).
Some things feel too strong not too use, others too expensive to use for what you get..
5 grasp for some mana regen.. VS 5 grasp for 3 death defiance... the mana regen can be topped by a single boon, while death defiance keep your runs going.. pretty great as you're leaning.
Most arcana that provide me with more damage have not left my employ, they are pretty high %, and dont have to be too hard to utilise
Rerolls have been invaluable honestly. i cant image playing without them at this point
So just leaves a handful of cards i might switch out.. sometimes i might want the omega cast dmg card, for some challenges, i might switch in strength.. that's about it .. Just afriad they'll nerf the good cards, instead of buffing the ones i feel are not worth it
For example, I can choose to spend 5 grasp for 3 DDs or I could choose to spend 3 grasp for 1 DD.
Same with other things like % power, omega, extra HP and so on.
I've been playing without any reroll because I rather have the extra chance to get Rare cards and everything that buffs my omega cast.
(and since the last patch, I actually have one grasp to spare LOL)
