Is Demeter legendary boon even in the game ?

I'm trying to complete her prophecy and i'm only missing Winter Harvest.
Several runs i've had all three requirements fullfilled, but even if the legendary boon is the only possible reward, I get spare wealth instead.

If there's a secret interaction I don't mind getting spoiled

Just super rare. I had every requirement for it in Erebus and didn't see another Demeter until final biome where I got lucky by getting it in a Trial of the Gods.

I've gotten the requirements for Demeter on so many runs I've lost count. Still haven't seen it. Same with Zeus. Last night I got requirements for both and saw neither. I even got two 90 gold boons from Demeter.

That's odd. It's a rare legendary to get since you need three different boons (now it's supposedly easier because there are two more boons that can count), but haven't tried with the current update.

But to not be offered when you literally have nothing else to get... Could be a bug.

I know that the RNG in this game sometimes works in a strange way, like the time I've got Selene as a starter eight times in a row, in eight different runs (yes, finished runs. Not abandoned ones).


Let's hope the devs can fix those weird RNG once and for all.

Legendaries and Duo Boons actually have an internal roll that you need to pass in order for them to get offered.

For example you have all the boons but the legendary, then there is a hidden roll that happens let's say its 1-100, the game rolls for you and you are required to get 65+ in order for the boon to be offered else you get the gold

Chaos boons that increase rarity help with that and Poseidon's duo with Demeter Natural Selection also helps.

Btw the numbers are inaccurate just used them as an example

I don't see the point in making it difficult to get the legendary even with the pre-reqs. Those are tough enough to get on their own and nearly require players spending re-rolls.

Legendaries aren't strong enough for them to be this difficult to get. Wish they'd make them guaranteed or remove them.

I tried to get the zeus legendary today. I had over 6 zeus boons in my run. Was in all possible chambers. Before the chronos fight I could buy a last zeus bonn and still no legandary. That was really disapointing.

I've stopped playing the game because of this. You can't convince me Zeus and Demeter legendaries are actually in the game. I've had the requirements so many times. I've even had both requirements. I've had multiple boons with one option, or just the gold option in a single run. I'm tired of feeling punished engaging with design.

When devs fix the drop rate (I mean put them in the game) I'll have a reason to play again.

Well, Demeter for sure is in the game.
It's only annoying to get because it needs three boons (and it's been actually made easier in the latest patch because there are more boons that you can use).

I can't speak for Zeus, though. I don't even remember what his legendary is 😅


What DOES happen to me (talking about Demeter here, just as an example) is that when I have all the three required boons, the game that was once throwing Demeters every room suddenly stops giving me any more Demeter.

You may want to try taking the 2 point vow that gets rid of the two boons you don't choose. You have to use your rerolls, but you'll be able to get what you need quite quickly and won't be left with much after. It's a fast track to every legendary except Zeus and Demeter's, which of course aren't in the game.
