"but greatly expand the body diversity. Hades 2 shows that you can be hot when you’re old and that your disability or belly doesn’t hold you back from looking good. Representation is a powerful tool"
Not to offend, I just think it's weird to classify a game as 'woke' for you when it's clearly just 'woke' for other people. If you mean woke as in playing a game with character design diversity, and you've never played a game with design diversities... then dude you're missing out on so many games viewing it that way. Don't go reading these articles that give you the ick, I get it. Seeing that stuff can feel forced down your throat if you don't view things the same way as another person.
Just understand reading articles like this aren't concrete facts. They're the writers opinions on the game they're experiencing. The thing is, you quoted a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ article where they start off saying:
"I had a couple of nitpicks that stopped it from being perfect. One of these was the character designs."
The first one letter word in that sentence tells you more than enough, this is a persons opinion. A person sharing their genuine positive opinion and experience. The fact that you slightly correlate what you read there to being a negative thing by intentionally using the word 'woke' is weird.
Their opinions don't need to be yours, nor do their opinions mean they're facts
I'm as anti-woke as the next guy, but this isn't coming from Supergiant. This is coming from journo filth with an obvious fetish and an agenda.
They've made characters visually appealing while holding onto variety. Hephaestus in God of War 3 is disabled and fugly because the art-style there is grittier, but in Hades everything is a bit more beautified.
If Supergiant comes out with a ESG/DEI statement I'll concede that you told me so, but this seems fine to me, mate. Don't punish Supergiant over woke news websites.
Also, archive articles before you share them so they don't get traffic.
My dear OP, do you not think that;
Or;
A simple yes or no answer will suffice, but you can elaborate if you wish to. I am genuinely curious about this one...
I'm starting to believe you people are all just bots. You literally all type the same and have no individuality.
