Considering all of their games have been made in this custom engine, it's fair to assume they're still using it for Hades 2.
What GameLogic said is mostly correct but I have a little more insight on the topic.
Hades 1 started with Microsoft XNA framework, MonoGame or FNA. It's unknow which version exactly was that (Microsoft discontinued XNA and both MG and FNA are forks and continued by community).
All 3 are using C# but they are just frameworks + tools, not "full engine" like Unity, so they had to build their own custom engine on top of it.
If you played in Early Access there are chances you might remember this build (EA started in 2018 and in 2020 they were talking about porting to native code https://youtu.be/_rRan888rRY?t=325 ).
Bastion was also created using this technology.
The release version of Hades (1.0+) was already moved to their custom C/C++ engine based on The Forge framework.
This is also engine (and framework) that is used to create Hades II and probably their future games.

Have a great day!
