Nectar relations

I saw in the book of shadows progress of the nectar share. There are also a bath salt heart present. What if I miss one bath heart and give nectar instead. Will I be able to open the last one heart anyway?

They are giving you options. For most, you can give Nectar, take a Bath, or go Fishing. There are differences for all of them, but the end result is still +1 Relations. The Nectar is quick and easy. The Bath spends time, so it counts down the timers on the Cauldron, Plants, and Charon deliveries. The Fishing spends less time, but adds a fish (used for Bones).

It hasnt been implemented yet, but Hades 1 required an Ambrosia to unlock the Last Heart.

Don't you think it would ridiculous if you had to start new game and grind all your progress again which might easily take 40+ hours just because you miss one bath heart and give nectar instead?

Agree, that would be. I’m asking if somebody gave something else instead of expected. And if ‘yes’ - does ir change a progress somehow. Becaus if there is not nectar to give, but salt..might be a hidden reason. Maybe no possibility to unlock the latest heart relation

I have tried multiple times to give bath salts and they simply give you the item back.

I don't think you can give the wrong item..?
