people ask questions and nobody has a dang clue if it's something intentional or not because who knows. maybe it was disabled due to some gamebreaking reason. maybe not.
but, we have no right to ask for patch notes. so, guess we just assume it's intentionally disabled then. either that or someone has no clue how to bug fix.
we just blind labrats scurrying around trying to find what is broken without ever being informed if we are actually being heard.
game is good, the early access testing is nearly warranting a negative review with how it's being handled.
But again, I am not sure if it's related to that or maybe it is just bugged for you guys. I wasn't fully paying attention but I do remember that I didn't have a gift option for her avaible immediately for her either. Seems like it could just be bugged unfortunately since with 25+ hours you should have unlocked it by now imo.
good point. issue is, book says it's available to give and isn't locked like it should be like all the other characters who can be gifted but aren't ready to receive yet.
but, devs refuse to give any information about bug fixes so, anyone who quits due to any bugs holding back content, they will never return to double check because there will never be any sign that it was fixed.
bugs break audience retention. no indication that any feedback is listened to because patch notes are refused to be given, means people who experience a bug like this one, will never know when it's fixed.
I believe it does have something to do with that questline. I have advanced it without giving her nectar first. I distinctly remember I didn't have one on me when I first met her.
I'm not complaining, just wanted to post the issue, because I couldn't find this problem on the forums
It is 100% related to this. I was unable to give her a gift, found this thread, then progressed this until Narcissus talks about Echo. Then the next time I talked to Echo, she offered me the boon and then I was able to gift her nectar and get the keepsake.
