Any way to avoid sheepishness?
...specifically, the curse from Hecate's boss fight? I've tried outrunning the projectile and running it into one of the shades, but neither worked. Also tried turning her into a sheep to see how she liked it, but that went about as well as anyone would've expected.

I'm curious if anyone's figured out a way to avoid the curse, or if it's not possible? It's not that big of a deal, it'd just be neat if there was some kind of tricksy, easter egg-esque way to do it.

It moves fast and is hard to outrun even if you stack sprint speed, but its turning circle is wide, so if you just dodge directly back through it half a dozen times it will expire.

It will also expire if it hits something it can't pass through, like Hecate herself or the frog familiar, Frinos.

There are a couple of mechanics for destroying projectiles that I haven't tried on it. It's possible they work too. Invincibility from Hexes or the like does not work against it.

Get better at dodging it until it disappears, or run it into your frog familiar.

Make it come from behind you then dash back through it and repeat that until it dissipates, or like Spooky said run it into your frog

I think it bounces 6 or 7 times before disappearing. Dash.

Oh it disappears? I gave up after trying for a few dodges and instead I've decided to just stand still as it comes in since it's very easy to dodge stuff as the sheep (plus the fact that the small enemies still run from you even when you're in that form =)

I use Frinos to absorb it, she even comments on it mid-fight if you do so XD

I just had the same epiphany, I'd never managed to dodge it long enough and it seemed to speed up to stop me from running away from it so I thought either it wasn't possible or there was a trick. I'll have to try that (or the frog option...he'll be fine, probably!)

What I normally do is "dash into it" using the invincibility frames.

U can dash toward it using i-frames and it'll stop after like 6-7times. U can also use Frinos to block it.

Dash into it to dodge and then have it hit an enemy for it to dissipate faster than waiting it out

As others pointed out, you can either use the frog Familiar to tank it ( that little bugger sure is useful in many boss situations ), avoid it by dashing when it's going for you ( it takes a bit to turn again. Though careful because it speeds up and can just turn faster than your dash reset if you remain too close to it ) and I think you can use Hecate herself as a shield.
