How to reset your starting level seed?

How do you reset the starting seed you have? For example, if I go underground (or surface..), there's a boon sitting there waiting for me. If I quit the game to main menu and go back, it's still the same boon every time, with the same perks to choose from. How can I change this?

So far I've only found you can just kill yourself for it to work but there must be an easier way...

You have to die. Giving up, exiting or otherwise resetting the run without a death will just re use the same seed.
