The drummer makes the fight much more difficult, taking her out opens the arena up, so always blitz her down first.
Take out the drummer first. When she is awake she covers the entire arena with a red area. Where you either need to be far away or right next to her to avoid the damage.
The guitarist will mostly leave you alone, only occasionally dashing at you, or shooting clear bubbles that briefly stun you.
Lead singer will either shoot red balls out that move very slowly, and are easily dodged, or will have red flame like things coming off the front of her stage. For that you can just use range attacks.
1 - 3 bosses is 3 hitboxes, use your AoEs.
2 - Roxy is stationary and Scylla is slow, they will stand in DoT AoEs for the full duration.
For Defense
1 - Roxy uses 2 pairs of attacks, forward or backward. Ring of AoEs wither spreading away from her or closing toward her. Dodge toward them between explosions and they will move past you without touching. Whole arena explosion but safe close to her, then explosion in the former safe zone with the rest of the arena safe, of those two in reverse order - stand in the safe area and sprint to the new safe area after the explosion.
2 - Jetty's attacks always start at her and are aimed directly at where you are when they start. dash away around her and not directly toward or away.
3 - Scylla is basically a banshee from the first area but bigger and her shell blocks backstabs. Kite her and use your cast to slow her down.
hope this helps
Phase 1:
Drummer will always send OUT damage zones and then follow up with the same zones but coming IN
Guitarist will rotate between the guitar slam that sends out a damage wave and shooting out bouncy bullets in a straight line (once she starts these actions she won't change direction of her facing so it is easy to bait out this attack and then deal massive backattack damage)
Scylla will start with a trident chase then summon slow moving homing orbs
Phase 2:
Everything is the same except for the featured artist
The drummer will now also create zones that move parralel outward (or inward) or a counter clockwise line of damage zones
The guitarist will now shoot more bullets during her shooting phase (but still not change facings) and her guitar dash will now create a damage wave on start AND finish
Scylla will create way more slow moving homing orbs and will start to summon more once the first one expires; making her hard to melee at this point
Phase 3
Scylla will summon a LOT of weak but fast moving flying fish... just drop your cast on her and finish her off at this point
If you're dying consistently on this boss, it's because you're so used to spamming moves and not using your brain to understand how to keep out of the way of balls moving in one direction. Or a singer walking towards you with a 3 headed prong that is literally just right in front of her. Or the drummer that stays in ONE spot and casts the same two aoe's over and over that have areas around her that she NEVER hits. Every move so slow, you never have to actually dodge/dash to get out of any of it.
I beat Scylla and co. with the Axe's spin to win, in literally 2 minutes. Gather the other two up around the drummer, charge up your spin to win axe and voila, you have your win.
Now if your rant was about Chronos, who is purposefully over tuned to keep you from progressing as much, then I'd understand. But you're ranting about the SECOND EASIEST BOSS IN THE GAME.
Maybe, of course, if I'll be very lucky and spent hour or so, it would work out, but I don’t like this option. :D
I mean. That's kind of the Hallmark of this genre.
It's not required to level up, but the meta progression there exists for people of differing skill levels to succeed.
Some ppl will need more runs than others to defeat the final boss. Some ppl will need less.
And if someone doesn't want the challenge at all, there's God mode.
Lmao. Hoarding the resource rooms I see.
Not by choice xD
Let's just say I've gotten good at doing perfect runs all up until chronos with only the demeter boost and possible boons I can buy from shops... haven't gotten chronos down yet but I've unlocked just about everything else xD
after 5 or 6 deaths to her I watched a youtube of it.. next attempt was successful.
I could've probably figured it out eventually.. maybe..
and holy carp the boss music slaps so freaking hard
