Plus, you actually get a lore-sensible way to pause the fight (and re-enable your time-slows, or at least the one from the Arcana I, not sure about the rest) later on.
actually high iq move, thank you
That is good to know. I didn't know that was a thing. Still though, is that really what they want the player to be doing? It's not like the pause menu confers some gameplay advantage.
Yeah, I feel like even him just commenting on the pause menu having been opened is enough to preserve the moment.
You actually unlock a way to pause the game right at the start, through the start button. It may sound a bit OP but is typically balanced by the fact that you can't play the game while it's opened.
But on the other hand, sometimes you really HAVE to pause and the fact that you have to metagame for that is… not ideal. Having it happen only once would be a solution of course but I feel like there should be an alternative. For instance a penalty based on how long you have paused the game or something.
This thread is about a boss that unpauses the game when you pause it using the start button. Just so you are aware.
I think its a fun little easteregg because hes the incarnation of time
It requires three kills. Realistically five or six because you're going to want the other upgrades.
In a game like dark souls, for example, how much progress do you lose when you die? The answer is less than 45 minutes.
What heat level do I need to have cleared to have an opinion? I've done 9.
