Hades II

Someone got to the "Endgame" yet?
Hey, just really curious if the Game already offers difficult endgame content similiar to Heat in Hades 1 or some similiar stuff, the black rock runs r quite fun but doesn´t last too long.

Else that would be quite the bummer and kinda make the insane amount of Grind and Progress you could do, pretty Pointless.

Absolutely amazing Game in pretty much every regard, but that message after you beat Chronos made me insanely depressed, pretty much meaning thats almost it for now unless u wanna checkout some parts of the new map, which honestly isn´t too challenging.

Thought they said the Game was in quite a finished State aside from some content they still wanted to add.

Yeah there is a heat like system, and on top of that theres currently two areas you can do runs in (presumably with more coming and the overworld area still being finished) so theres multiple bosses and zones you can choose from too vs the original.

Important to know - It's very obvious that while you CAN fight and beat the boss, essentially the equivalent of beating Hades once in the first game IS in - But the equivalent to 10 runs finished isnt anywhere near in yet. Also the boss is crazy overtuned - Like ridiculous.

Yeah made it there within the first day of the game's release. I think you just need to beat the "final" boss once to unlock the heat system but theres a lot more content even past that point.

I don't think the boss is that overtuned (his second phase is the main issue but its manageable). When I first encountered him I did get slaughtered, but once I learned his mechanics he was pretty reasonable. That said, I don't like the instant death attacks, but when you have 2 charges of death's defiance it isn't much of an issue. I actually have a harder time consistently beating the 2nd boss when compared to him.

Chronos isn't overtuned at all but the mistake the game makes is they expect you to do parts of the Overworld BEFORE you beat Chronos and they don't really make that clear.

If you are just slamming Tartarus its hard but if you craft a Shadow Essence and go to the Overworld first you get many more unlocks that help you beat Chronos.

The biggest difference is probably the instant death attacks and similar to many other attacks those attacks are tremendously glitchy with things like Death's Defiance or using the time slowdown from Omega charging.

Not so much needs nerfing but those things need fixing badly, and maybe an explicit indicator of the progression path.

for 12 hours and 10 attempts i beat it first time, its easier without this de-baff of this *****, but still final boss is hard

Yeah the arbitrary debuff for getting too far ahead of the "plot" or whatever it is is extremely lame. If you don't want ppl progressing that far at that stage just kill them.

Yea i feel like he´s pretty fair, nothing you can´t beat with average luck and some skill you learned after fighting him a few times.
But honestly i am in no hurry "grinding" him yet anyway, still happily exploring every nook and cranny and trying out all the weird boons that might make for something fun and mainly focusing on all the different progressions.
Tryharding him on highest possible heat i can, will certainly be my endgoal though, Game is just too much fun to not go hard :D
