Hades II

How do you unequip a keepsakes
I cannot figure out how to unequip a keepsake. I play using a controller, and I have tried pressing every single button. Nothing seems to work.

Hi there, there is no way to unequip keepsakes. They can only be replaced with another keepsake. Is there an issue with a keepsake that you have equipped?

As of now, I just have one keepsake from Zeus. So I find his boons more frequently compared to others. As I am in early game, at this point I want to explore boons from other gods and not super interested in getting boons from Zeus. So I though that I will unequip the Zeus keepsake. In any case, it is not a big deal, but just minor inconvenience.

There is an incantation that will make the trinket collection appear between biomes at the fountain, where you can swap out for another trinket. If you haven't paid for the incantation yet, you should.

swapping trinkets at the right times is a key strategy.

Just like in Hades 1, get Nectar whenever you can and give 1 to everyone in the camp, starting with Skelly , then move on to the gods

many ways to get nectar, from either the shop in the crossroads or in the underworld, just give a glug to someone else (i suggest hecate as a start) and you'll get their keepsake too

You should be able to get nectar to give away with your next run to get a different trinket

Oh that makes sense. I can see the issue here, and it makes for good feedback that I will pass on, so thank you for the post!

In the meantime, I recommend giving your next Nectar to a non-Olympian NPC, like one you can find in the crossroads, or in safe rooms within the biomes. These ones give keepsakes that affect other aspects of gameplay outside of influencing boons, so that would be the best workaround for now. Sorry about that!
