After how many Nights?
I currently at my 10th night and I struggled at Hakete and I don’t if it’s normal or am I bad? That’s why I want to ask after how many nights did you completed your first run?

I beat hecate on my second run and i havent lost to her since. Her moves are slow and easy to dodge. Memorize her patterns and take it slow, there’s no rush.

Did you find the difficulty spike between biome 1 and 2 slightly too big?

100% agree with the "take it slow" approach. One of the biggest things about ARPGs in general is that you have to be consistent, not over extend, and take bosses slowly so you can learn their attack patterns and when they have openings you can punish.

I can dodge her attacks but her big attack where she is clone herself is when I get damage

Haven't beat a run yet but beat Hecate on my 3rd. Once you get her patterns down she is easy. Good luck!

If its just the bubble attack you can dash through them without taking damage. If its the circle one, you can move to the edge of the map to avoid it or dash into the circle and then out, just avoid the purple boundary.

beat chronos already but needed a very good build
I beat her and the second boss on my second run. After getting used to the new mechanics, it wasn't too bad really.

But like, it's totally fine to struggle at first. Don't let it discourage you or frustrate you. I know this is gonna sound stupid and like I'm being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but get used to dying and don't let it get under your skin. That type of attitude is basically a must for this type of game.

I got through Hecate on my third run, which is the same run I got through the second boss, and rooms into the third area. The difficulty spike between the first and second areas seems a bit lower than the spike between the second and third.

It took me like 4-5 attempts to beat Hecate. Her moveset is pretty straightforward easy to avoid, it is just that boons in this game are mostly terrible. Most attempts I got to Hecate I didn't have a decent attack or special boon and it take ages to kill her.

edit :
I think game is very unbalanced right now. There were a few runs I got good boons and the game felt very easy. So there is a chance you can get very overpowered but it is very rare. Most times I'm struggling to get a build going and I have terrible damage.

I beat her on my first run, but I played Hades 1 quite a bit. Her pattern/abilities are quite easy to dodge, I went into her fight with 13 health and left with 8. It also helped that her Staff feels like the Trident in Hades 1 which was the Weapon I mostly used.
ye, same. second run and grandma is resting till now. take your time
I learnt how to spell Hecate from Night 1 and lost to her only 2 times after (night 27 atm)

Took me like 5 runs to beat Hecate, and I one hundred percented the first game. Take it at your own pace!
