Weapons

So far the weapons are the weak points so far, compared to the first they seem to be much duller. I'm starting to upload them for variations but nothing super different or really cool. Anyone else finding these weapons a bit boring? or if the variations change a lot the pump is HORRIBLE the variation so far for me

I only use the Axe. I can't stomach the other weapons honestly. I hate that the Rail was replaced with maracas that spurt cotton candy.

weapons feel really bad at least most of them
i only got 4 unlocked so far but both staffs are terrible and the axe fits not my playstyle so im stuck with the dagger for now.
i disliked the ranged weapons in hades 1 too but these staffs feel much worse.

if you haven't unlocked the Argent Skull, you're missing out. That weapon is incredibly OP with one of the hammers which turns its omega special into a win button. I mopped both the overworld and underworld with Argent Skull>Twisted Crash(?)>Flutter flourish (Aphrodite special).

You can play the whole game with just that boon and a decent magick regen skill to spam omega specials and win. The omega special on that weapon is similar to the shield bullrush in the original game, but on steroids.. You clear rooms in seconds and make mincemeat out of any boss.

It's gonna be nerfed, so enjoy it in its current form.
